DownWithLogLin

Before we dispense with log linearization, we first must understand it precisely. The first files go over basic perturbation methods.

We then need to spend some time reviewing how to solve optimal control problems. The notebook Optimal_growth.nb outlines a simple approach and model. The DICE_CJL paper describes much better ways to solve optimal control problems.

The paper and slides called “Curvefit” lays out the alternative to log linearization, and presents some examples.
