Summer 2013 Computation in CA Housing Info from Karl

Dear Karl,

Thank you for contacting our office.  At this time I cannot say for sure what is available from the options we have shown on our website.  Last time I checked, we had a few shared rooms in our Oak Creek complex.  But I cannot guarantee any are available at this time, and we expect some rooms to become available as the Summer Quarter approaches. I would recommend you and your PhD students submit applications and we will respond within 5 business days as tothe status of your application(s).

I would also contact the workshop coordinator and see if your conference provides housing for itsparticipants. Those are usually closer to the conference site.

You could also be eligible to sub license within Graduate housing.  Here is the link that will provide you with more information about this option: http://www.stanford.edu/dept/rde/cgi-bin/drupal/housing/sublicense.

These are short term sublets, many of them are from single graduate students, and the contract is subject to approval from the Sub license department.  Additionally, you will have to provide proof of your affiliation with Stanford to the student you plan to sub license from.

In case you will need housing during your stay here at Stanford, I’ve included a few resources below to help you find housing off campus.
